Case Reports
Case Reports submission
The Scientific Committee will organize the “Difficult Dual Disorders clinical cases” session during the WADD 2024 Congress, where we aim to discuss different case reports that present diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
How to submit
Case reports should be submitted through the online form that can be accessed from this page.
When the case report has been successfully submitted, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the corresponding author. If you do not receive the confirmation, please check your spam folder and, if you do not have it, please contact: info@dual-disorders-congress.com.
Authors will have access to their case reports until the deadline and will be able to edit submitted case reports.
All correspondence related to the case report will be sent to the authors’ email address.
In order for the Scientific Committee to be able to make a proper evaluation, you must send an abstract of 300 words maximum.
The maximum number of papers submitted per author/first author is 1. If you submit additional papers, you must not be the first author, and you must include other authors different from those of the first paper submitted.
Case report may not include graphs, figures, tables, acknowledgements or bibliographic citations.
To assist the Scientific Committee in making a correct evaluation, the structure of the case report should be as follows:
• Description of the objectives
• Material and methods
• Results and conclusions
An ad-hoc scientific committee will select 8 of them prior to the congress. These will be presented in a three-hour session. The remaining accepted abstracts will be presented in poster sessions.
Those selected must prepare a 10-minute presentation of their clinical case, which will be followed by comments from the experts and those attending the session.
